ODI Featured at STEM for All Multiplex Theme of the Month

ODI has participated in several STEM for All Video Showcases since they began in 2015. This year, the creators of the video showcase launched the STEM for All Multiplex, an online platform bringing the videos from all six showcases (2015-2020) together in one place. Each month, the Multiplex focuses on a new education topic of interest with an intro blog, expert webinar panel, playlist of related videos, discussion, and resources in their "Theme of the Month."

This September, the Theme of the Month is Leveraging Authentic Data Across STEM Curricula, and ODI was asked to share our work. I was asked to write the blog framing the topic and will be moderating a September 17 webinar featuring a fantastic expert panel that includes researchers Chad Dorsey and Andee Rubin, educator Margo Murphy, and researcher/educator Suyen Machado. Given the topic, it's not surprising that the Theme of the Month's video playlist included several ODI projects, including Real World, Real Science, Ocean Tracks, and Zoom In!).

A discussion forum has been started, with several questions posed. We hope you'll take a minute to add your voice to the discussion and share your thoughts and questions on the topic of leveraging authentic data in classrooms.
