This notice is to advise that, as part of the Stage 2 O-Train Light Rail Transit (LRT) there will be construction activity during the night for the investigation of maintenance holes ahead of construction. The maintenance holes are in various locations between Pinecrest interchange westward to Moodie interchange.
What
Overnight noise from accessing maintenance hole lids on roadways with hand tools
When
As early as, September 13 through October.
Please note that construction schedules are subject to change with inclement weather.
Why
To investigate the status of maintenance holes, as part of ongoing utility relocations in advance of the LRT construction work. This work is being done during overnight hours to prevent traffic and mobility delays.
Where
At approximately 17 different locations between Pinecrest Road, Highway 417 and Moodie Drive
Hours
10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Nightly
Anticipated Impacts
Periodic night work is expected to occur outside of daytime hours. Noise levels are not expected to be impactful and locations are not near residential areas.
