It's been decided: the conference Beyond a tunnel vision on November 27th 2020 will be fully digital! The plenary and parallel sessions are broadcasted live online from several European countries. You can now sign up as participant … for free.

Tunnels play a vital role in infrastructure. Many of them are aging and in need of major renovations. They cannot be shut down due to required high availability. Because of the volume and urgency of the tasks, this challenge needs to be addressed at an international scale. The conference Beyond a tunnel vision is an important stepping stone in European collaboration.

In the plenary session you will be updated on (research) initiatives and the joined ambition to form a network of experts and tunnels. Among the contributors are Jürg Röthlisberger (chairman of CEDR), Stefan Maurhofer (president EUTF) and Jan Slager (manager renovation programme Rijkswaterstaat). For in-depth knowledge and discussions you can join the parallel sessions. Experts from all over Europe will present best practices, lessons learned and scientific studies to inspire you and invite you to share your own views and experiences.
