Children's Liturgy of the Word Lessons - click Here.

Children's Liturgy of the Word is a ritual for the proclamation of God's word with children appropriate to their understanding. Children leave the larger parish assembly during Mass to celebrate a concurrent Liturgy of the Word, but then return back to Mass for the Liturgy of the Eucharist. Our catechists have continued providing lessons in an online format, which families can do together!

Missals Available at St Andrew
Missals (bilingual), Breaking Bread, and seasonal inserts are on the front porch of the rectory (806 NE Alberta). Feel free to pick up one or two per household. Plan to keep these books for the remainder of the liturgical year. Songs and numbers for Breaking Bread are posted in the e-mail Sunday Newsletter and on the live stream so you can participate from home in the Sunday Mass.

Thinking about becoming a catholic?
The RCIA (the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) is the process for welcoming adult newcomers into the Catholic Church.  If you are thinking about becoming Catholic, and have not received one or more of the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, First Communion, Confirmation), then this process is for you.To keep everyone safe during the pandemic, our preparation for the Sacraments will consist of short videos to watch at home, Zoom sessions on Sunday from 11:00-12:30 PM and informal weekly check-ins on Wednesdays evenings.. We will formally begin our sessions on Sunday September 13, 2020. For more information contact Michael Prendergast mprendergast@archdpdx.org
