I am thankful for:

flower bouquets ... and fall flower planters ... and friends sharing flower photos
a mini belated retirement celebration with my old team ... and the beyond generous retirement present of so many gift cards from friends and colleagues .... I am so looking forward to making lots of Treat Boxes to put them in that will be donated to local charities
the perfect weather for hosting some work friends up at the cottage ... wow, it has already been 5-1/2 months since my retirement date (way back when social distancing and isolation measures just started) ... it was so wonderful to see everyone in person
walks in the woods ... and such an interesting variety of mushrooms popping up everywhere
Roland digging up and sharing some old family pictures so I can share a #throwbackthursday photo this week ... and that Heidi and Stefan are well past primary school so we aren't juggling a COVID-19 back to school September
no rain on Tuesday when I was helping with a move ... just cloudy was the perfect weather
and so many, many more things.

Recent Creative Treats Activities

I have been busy designing some small boxes that can be used to make Advent calendars. I have lots of designs with sample boxes made. Now I just need to allocate the time to record the videos. I have posted just one new video over on Facebook. The photo and link for the video where I show how to make a cute tiny box which holds a Lindor chocolate is below.

Upcoming Creative Treats Activities

I will continue to schedule some more free Treat Boxes webinars and mini-courses which you can signup for through Eventbrite. I would love any feedback about the event details, the sign-up process, or about how the webinar goes if you/when you are able to attend.

The next Creative Cards and Crafts session for The Dementia Society of Ottawa and Renfrew County will be starting Tuesday 15 September and is open for registration. If you know anyone who would benefit from this program, please send them the following Eventbrite link where they can sign-up.
