Happy New Year!
We would like to remind everyone that CTSB is open to the public, but we ask that you please call or email ahead to schedule your visit and wear a mask at all times when inside the building.
While we are not currently scheduling regular classes, individual training is available to our members on an as-needed basis for cameras & equipment, studio production, and editing.
Our equipment is available by request to all current members on a first come- first served basis. If you are not currently a member, you can become one for $15/year for an individual, or $50/year for an organization.
That said, we would like to share with you some brand new equipment that we have made available for you to use:
Canon XA45
These professional 4K camcorders will replace our 2 older model Canon Vixias. The features are similar, so many of you who are already familiar with the Vixia will find these easy to use. Each camera is equipped with a Vidpro shotgun mic. You can find the manual for the XA45 here:

DJI Pocket 2 Creator Combo
This 4K camera is small, portable, and ideal for shooting handheld. Equipped with a 3-axis gimbal and motion tracking, it ensures smooth shots when on the go. This kit comes with a wireless mic that connects to the camera via bluetooth, you can also wirelessly connect your phone to use as a larger viewfinder. Read more about the DJI Pocket 2 here:

GoPro Hero 8 Black
Another great portable camera, the GoPro Hero 8 can shoot at 4K up to 60fps, is very durable, and waterproof up to 33ft. Read more about the GoPro Hero 8:

Sony ECM-44B Lavaliers
We've got 3 of these Sony wired lavaliers to supplement our 2 wireless lavalier kits, which, while useful, can be cumbersome to use in some field productions.
Dedolight Felloni 50D LED Light Panels
We have 4 of these 5600°K LED Light panels available, in addition to our existing lighting kits. They can be powered by battery or DC power adapter. These lights were graciously donated to CTSB by our board member, Paul Tepper.
Smartphone Accessories
Many new mics, stands, and other accessories for shooting high quality videos with your smartphones.
Please feel free to call us at (413) 243-8211 or email info@ctsbtv.org with any questions you may have. We hope to hear from you soon!
Sincerely,
Shane Bruno
