WE'RE STILL HERE!
After a rather abrupt interruption and ultimate end to our 2019/20 ski season, we're finally emerging from the pandemic haze with carefully prepared plans for responsibly reopening this upcoming winter season.
In challenging times, like ones we’re currently facing, we often find ourselves in a state of awareness and appreciation for the people and things in our lives that truly matter. We've narrowed our social networks to a newly limited 'family', 'unit', 'cohort', 'pod', 'bubble', 'squad', or 'quaranteam'; whatever the reference, the people we love and trust most. From here we venture out into the world with a new sense of caution and diligence.
By its very nature, the Callaghan Country experience fosters the promotion of strong physical and mental health, connecting with the natural world by exploring her expansive wild spaces, and the practise of risk management. These aspects of our business take on a new importance. Responding to Covid-19, we are coming back with expanded safety precautions and protocols. It's going to feel different for everyone. We’re “hoping for the best - planning for the worst” and trusting that our local visitors and guests will support our endeavour of continuation. We very much look forward to seeing you again!
