We’re back from Utah.

A few days ago we shared part of the story of our family trip to Utah. As I’ve confessed to a few people, in my quest to see the world (92 countries to date), I had forgotten that some of the most extraordinary places on Earth are in our “backyard,” the United States. Our trip began with a four-night stay at the Lodge at Blue Sky...(https://aubergeresorts.com/bluesky/). It was sublime, a retreat with just 46 accommodations on property encompassing over 3,000 acres. Hiking, horses, fly fishing, and more await. Or perhaps just some time in the world class spa. And, lest we forget, food prepared under the watchful eye of a James Beard Award-winning chef.

The second part of our Utah adventure took us to the Waldorf Astoria Park City  (https://www.waldorfastoriaparkcity.com/discover/photo-gallery/). The Waldorf is a bit less secluded, in the heart of the Park City/Deer Valley ski complex, and offers a comfortable luxury hotel/ski lodge vibe. We connected with friends, while our son, Alex, and his wife, Aly, headed to Zion for an unbelievable hiking adventure, trekking both Angel’s Landing and the Narrows in a single day.

You can read about the second half of our trip here: https://www.elantravel.net/blog/the-spirits-of-utah. We’ll follow up with another blog post in the next few days, wrapping up the overall story, including a visit to Montage Deer Valley.

We hope you'll join us for the second part of our Utah travel story. For us, it was truly an experience that rejuvenated our souls, serving as a reminder that travel to beautiful places is possible now. Whether you prefer a degree of privacy, or a bit more interaction with the world around you, options such as these offer the opportunity to plan a voyage that combines comfort, beauty, and tranquility in a setting that you will find inspiring.

Best always,
Victoria
