Why have you chosen a permanent relationship in marriage?  Is your partner your security base?  If that’s the case maybe your motto is: Ask not what you can do for your partner but what your partner can do for you. If that’s the case, the relationship will not survive a midlife crisis. Unless you make the Lord your security base, you will have no security at all. Cfr. Is 7:9.
