You're invited to join us for our Project Team Open House on the 30th of September!

Dear Partners,

Thank you for your continued interest and support of this exciting project. Our project team is busy collecting insights from faculty in the MENA region and preparing for our Open House next week!  Please join in and feel free to share the following opportunities with your networks.

  1. Share the Faculty Insights Survey – Please use this link to the survey on HIGHER EDUCATION INCLUSIVE PEDAGOGY AND TECHNOLOGY IN THE REFUGEE CONTEXT IN THE MENA REGION with faculty in your networks in the MENA region. The voices of teachers across the region are essential to the project.
  2. Attend the Project Team Open House – The Project Team is hosting an Open House, 30th of September, from 2 pm - 3 pm Amman Time (Find it in your local time here). We’ll be sharing a project update and some insights from the engagement workshops. Click HERE to register for the Open House.
  3. Participate in Engagement Workshops – Our country teams still have a few workshops to go. If you work with faculty in Egypt, Jordan, or Lebanon, please encourage them to join us. Click here for the dates, times, and sign-up forms for all of the sessions.

If you have any questions about the project or would like to be more involved, please reach out to the Project Lead, Nikki James, at info.opa@careyinstitute.org

Thank you!

Sincerely,

Diana

ABOUT THE PROJECT

The Center for Learning in Practice at the Carey Institute for Global Good, UNHCR, and the Connected Learning in Crisis Consortium have joined together to strengthen capacity in the MENA region for faculty to understand and effectively use digital pedagogies, with particular consideration for refugees.

Together, we will engage higher education faculty across the region to conduct a situation analysis on faculty skills and faculty development, develop a framework for faculty professional development, and craft a blueprint for action - for delivering inclusive, digitally mediated pedagogies in the MENA context, with special consideration for refugees.

The project runs from June 17, 2020 through November 30, 2020, and is funded in part by the Open Society Foundations.
