It’s Stewardship Season
“Even in these challenging times, I believe we can find ways to give our time, our talents and our treasures. Be generous when you can, one step at a time, we will be successful working together blessed with faith.”  Becky Zeren shared those lovely thoughts with us last Sunday as we kicked off  our annual Stewardship campaign. At this time each year we ask you to consider how you can support our St. Bede’s community in the coming year. Please return your pledge card promptly so that we can count you in.

Survey regarding Holy Eucharist on All Saints (November 1st)

Rev. Martha is considering offering the Holy Eucharist in honor of All Saints on November 1st.  The service would still be virtual (not in person), but after the service, the consecrated communion would be delivered to the homes of anyone who signed up in advance.

First, though, we need to determine if there would be interested at St. Bede's for this idea.  Please fill out THIS SURVEY to share your opinion on this idea.

Please respond to the survey by Sunday, October 18.

A Prayer for This Week

O God, you made us in your own image and redeemed us through Jesus your Son: Look with compassion on the whole human family; take away the arrogance and hatred which infect our hearts; break down the walls that separate us; unite us in bonds of love; and work through our struggle and confusion to accomplish your purposes on earth; that, in your good time, all nations and races may serve you in harmony around your heavenly throne; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
