With the global COVID-19 pandemic keeping you at home more than usual, you may have noticed your level of apprehension growing. However, your waistline may have also followed suit.

Unfortunately, the Quarantine 15 is all too real for many of our patients, who are turning more frequently to comfort food amid their upended routines. Also, gyms have been closed and the fires have forced us to stay indoors. That’s why we thought it would be a good idea to show you how you can regain control of your weight and your mood.

 
Here is a look at seven ways you can shed those extra pounds while simultaneously boosting your health and overall wellbeing in the weeks ahead.
Tip 1: HCG Program for Weight Loss
 
First, consider incorporating a weight loss program known as HCG into your daily regimen. Dr. A.T.W. Simeons created this program in 1954, but it has especially gained popularity during the past decade. The program aims to help many patients who are struggling with their weight so that they can begin to lead healthier lifestyles.
 
How HCG Works
 
Dr. Simeons discovered that a naturally occurring hormone called HCG, or human chorionic gonadotropin—after which his weight-loss program is named—was excellent for helping patients to shed those extra pounds.
