SHASA/MESA partnership
SHASA continues to support and work with our excellent business partner Micro Energy Systems Australia (MESA). We appreciate and recognise their personal commitment to the community and SHASA's long term vision for sustainability in our Shire. They assist SHASA in many ways in addition to the SHASA/MESA Solar Bulk Buy which has now installed around 250 individual systems providing more than 1300kW of solar power. Community Installs
The SHASA/MESA program to install solar on community facilities at no cost to those organisations continues. So far MESA has installed systems on the Bateman's Bay Surf Club, Rally for Recovery Tomakin, the Surfbeach CWA, the Bodalla Local Aboriginal Lands Council, the Red Door Hall and Anglican Parish Office Moruya, Monty's Anglican Parish Narooma.
MESA will be doing community organisation solar and in some cases, battery installs at the following community facilities over the coming months:
Scouts Batemans Bay
Eurobodalla Women's and Children's Refuge
Narooma Men's Shed
Batehaven Men's Shed
Marine Rescue Narooma (pending replacing the asbestos roof)
Monty's Narooma (pending DA approval)
