When literary editor Alice Murphy meets a young soldier just home from World War II, he awakens her longing for the child she once lost.  Haunted by their unique connection, Alice sets out on a journey to understand her past - and what she finds has the power to transform both of their lives.  Propelled by an ensemble of onstage musicians and dancers, the story unfolds as a rich tapestry of deep emotion, beautiful melodies and powerfully moving performances.

COVID Conscious Rehearsals & Casting
Here at the University of Northwestern St. Paul, we have been taking many precautions  to ensure that theatre is performed safely and effectively, including physical distancing, wearing masks, extra sanitization, and monitoring temperatures of cast and crew at every rehearsal.  Additionally, it is important to note this entire production has been double cast! These casts are both equal in size and production value, so if you know a performer, be sure to contact them to find out which days and times they are performing. We are blessed to have such a breadth of talented students who are working hard to make this production come to life!
