We are continuing to host Outdoor In-Person Services on Sundays. The services will be family-friendly and masks will be not be mandated (optional) as we'll be outdoors and asked to maintain physical distancing as much as possible. We ask that you bring your own lawn chairs or blankets and find a spaced-out spot in the field behind the building (feel free to bring an umbrella or pop up tent for shade). We're working on an "emergency bathroom use" plan but we're asking that you use the bathroom beforehand. There will be a 100 person limit and these spots will be available on a first-come-first-serve basis (with 10 seats held back for walk-ins from the community) so please be sure to register right away and let us know how many people will be coming from your household. Please continue to pray for Jerry Della Pia. Last week he had a portion of a tumour removed from his brain, and is currently recovering and doing rehab at Sunnybrook. The results from the surgery have confirmed that the tumour is malignant, and that further treatment will have to be done.
Please pray that his head would heal quickly so that the doctors can remove the staples. Jerry will not be able to continue with his treatment until his head has healed from the surgery.
Please pray that God would continue to heal Jerry.
Please continue to pray for peace for Shari and Jerry as they walk through this journey.
Please pray for more opportunities for Jerry to continue to be salt and light in the hospital.

This Sunday we'll begin offering Campus Kids at North - outside! For as long as we're able to gather together outside, we'll be offering a kids program (for children ages two and up to children entering grade 5), complete with COVID precautions, friendly smiles, and wonderful volunteers. If you don't feel comfortable sending your children, they are more than welcome to stay with you in the service or play on the playground. We ask that children under age 2 remain with their parents (though parents are welcome to bring their babies/toddlers to join the rest of the children/volunteers in the program). If you'd like more information, please contact Kirsten (our children's program director) and subscribe to our Campus Kids Family Email! We're excited to see your kids this Sunday so dress them warm and we'll see them soon!
Additionally, we'd really benefit from parents stepping into the volunteer rotation at this time. While it will mean having to tune in online one Sunday/month, it will mean that for the rest of the Sundays you'll be free to focus on the service. Campus Youth
Youth is back! Join us Wednesday evenings 7PM to 8:30PM at Bathurst! Youth will be meeting outdoors, weather permitting, or indoors if not. Masks will be required if indoors. Contact Pastor Rob for more details and to sign up for the weekly newsletter.
Campus Young Adults
Campus Young Adults is meeting every Tuesday night from 7:30 to 9PM at Bathurst. We're starting off the year with a series titled Back to Basics as we dig in together on some of the core concepts of our faith. We'll be enjoying the outdoors for as long as possible, so come dressed for the weather until we move inside. Masks will be required indoors. Awana This Fall
Based on feedback received from our AWANA parents, our directors have decided to offer modified Virtual AWANA Zoom meetings each Thursday from 7:00-8:00pm, starting September 24th. This will be an informal time for children to connect with each other and their leaders. We can use this time to chat about what they are learning in their books, as well as facilitating AWANA book work time for kids who are super keen with their memory verses. We will focus on each child's individual progress in their AWANA books, as we would dearly love for them to not lose any momentum in this new system. In January, God willing, we will hit the ground running with a full in-person program once the ambiguity of returning to school has settled down a bit. If you are interested in having your child attend Virtual AWANA this fall, please contact Sherry for further information.
We recently announced that for the 2020-21 school year, we will not be permitted to rent the building at King Christian School due to COVID-19 return-to-school limitations.
While we enjoy the warm weather and outdoor services, we're currently looking into our long-term options and though we may be between buildings, we want you to know that Campus North isn't "going" anywhere.
