Dear Friends,

"I thank my God every time I remember you,"
Paul writes to the Philippian church (Philippians 1.3). And the same is true for us when we think of you and pray for you each day as we gather via Zoom as staff to pray.

Paul was grateful for the Philippians' partnership in the gospel, as are we for you. Over the next two weeks (Australia Post permitting!) - someone told me the other day they received a letter from a friend who also lives in Melbourne a full month after they posted it - but Australia Post permitting we will be posting a booklet to to all our regular congregation members. It is a journal, in which some guided reflections are provided. We hope they are useful to you as we invite your participation, through the journal and feedback from it, to assist us as we make plans for the year to come, as well as for the next five years, in line with our Cathedral Vision. The journal is for you to keep, but we will invite you to respond, either online or by snail mail, and pass on to us your ideas, hopes and dreams for our fulfilling our vision plan. There won't be actual seeds in the envelope this time, but our hope is that figurative ones will be planted in your minds and hearts as we all, as a congregation, take part in this.

I've just this evening had the privilege of recording with our musicians the Evensong service which will be televised on C31 (digital channel 44) and streamed next Tuesday. The music was sublime, so I recommend to you to join us, virtually, if you are able.

Grace and peace,

Heather.
