RIVER ACTION DAYS:

Tree audit

Dear <<First Name>>,

With winter planting season just around the corner, it's time to put our tree order in.

We need your help to audit the trees planted over the last couple of years to see which are thriving and which haven't taken root so that we can order replacements if needed.
We aim to reuse materials where possible, so we will also remove tubes and stakes from dead trees to be used on other sites.

It's a great chance to see our river conservation projects, get some fresh air and enjoy the countryside whilst you work!

If you come along to the Flakebridge days (near Appleby), then you'll also get the chance to see our recently completed assisted natural recovery restoration project and find out more about it.

Don't forget, all our work parties operate within Covid-safe guidelines and numbers attending each session are restricted. Booking is essential and paperwork has to be completed in advance - we will send this out to you when you book. Places will be allocated on first-come, first-served basis.

Get in touch if you’d like to come - email volunteers@edenrt.org or contact me on 07834 555185.

Hope to see you soon at one of our volunteer days!

Jenni Payne,
Volunteer Coordinator
