Massachusetts, Massachusetts Dreamin'
New beer heading into the weekend!
From Left to Right:

Tiny Moons from Aeronaut Brewing Company
A Rye Pale Ale. A spicy, earthy pale ale with tropical citrus notes.

Landlocks & Brookies from Northwoods Brewing Company
Pale Ale from New Hampshire, notes of papaya, lime, and peach ring candy.

Good Gourd from Cigar City Brewing
Imperial Pumpkin Ale. Brewed with cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg, and vanilla.
FEATURED WINE FOR THE WEEKEND
Margins Chenin Blanc from 2019 is organically farmed and sees thirty days of skin contact during fermentation. This makes it technically an orange wine, a crisp refreshing Chenin Blanc, with the tannic structure of a light red.
'Shade' from Basket Range Wine is another wonderful natural red blend. 60% Pinot Noir, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 10% Merlot. This red features bright acid and great structure. Herbal notes surround a slight tartness of cranberry with some pepper spice on the nose. A nice red to get you back in the mood for reds in general as we head into the colder months.

Liqueur Highlight: PIMM'S No. 1 Cup

Pimm's No. 1 Cup is a 'Fruit Cup' Liqueur. These are unique to the UK and are meant to be mixers that you combine with a soft drink for a refreshing beverage. Gin based - this liqueur is infused with botanicals, caramelized oranges, and warm spices. The fastest and most popular way to enjoy it is known as 'The Pimm's Cup'. Which is simply 2oz of Pimm's with 4oz of Lemonade, garnished however you would like. Traditionally it is garnished with mint, cucumber, strawberry, and apple.

Negroni Week 2020

Negroni Week is a charity event that has typically been held in restaurants and bars since 2013 in support of various charities. However, since the restaurant industry has been upended in recent months the event is going digital to try and raise funds for those bars and restaurants that are struggling. So bust out the Campari, a little Gin, and some vermouth and head on over to the link below to contribute.

How to make a Negroni

This part is simple. First you will need:

1oz Dry Gin
1oz Italian Red Bitter Liqueur
1oz Sweet Vermouth

Pour over ice, stir, and garnish with an orange twist.

Most gins will do, but you will want to lean toward a more dry and less botanical variety. Also, as far as Italian Red Bitter Liqueur goes you can use Campari if you want it more bitter and with a bit more alcohol, or Aperol for a softer and sweeter experience.
