September 20th Tailgate Dinner

Join us for our youth group tailgate dinner on Sunday from 5-6pm.  Prepare or pick up your favorite tailgate food and enjoy it in the church parking lot behind your car or in another designated and socially distanced location.  Feel free to wear your favorite team's gear (Clemson, anyone?) or your favorite casual clothing.  Prizes will be awarded for best (looking) tailgate food, best tailgate setup, and best team spirit.  Your whole family is invited!

Space is limited for this special event, so be sure to review the Tailgate Event Reservation Map and reserve your parking spot (P) or walk in spot (W) using our Tailgate Dinner Sign Up Genius.  Parking spot reservations include an onsite parking spot.  Walk in spots require off site parking.  Be sure to bring chairs if you would like them.

As an in person youth group event, we will be following our church's Guidelines for Resuming In Person Youth Group Activities.  Thanks in advance for your patience and for following these important guidelines designed to keep our church family safe.
  1. In person youth group activities are held outside and limited to one hour per event.
  2. Non-contact temperature checks of all participants are taken upon arrival by a designated youth leader.  Those with a temperature of 100.3 degrees Fahrenheit or less are allowed to participate.
  3. All participants are required to wear masks.  Masks can only be removed to eat or drink (and with adherence to social distancing requirements of maintaining a distance of six feet away from anyone outside one’s family).
  4. Physical contact is prohibited (high fives, fist bumps, hugs, etc.).
  5. Those who are sick, especially vulnerable to COVID-19, or uncomfortable with in person activities should inform a youth leader and only participate in virtual youth group activities.

Youth Group Drive Thru Kickoff Party

We kicked off the new year of youth group with a bang!  Twenty-five families participated in our drive thru event which included Welcome Music, Ask the Pastor, Family Tree, Fire Drill, Picnic Supper or Snack, Prize Wheel, Prayer, and Car Art.  In addition we distributed the September and October Youth Group Calendar, shared this year's official Youth Group Service Project, and gave out our first Psalm of the Week Devotion.  Congratulations to the Unger family for winning our fire drill competition with a time of 6.56 seconds!  Check out the photos of that game and the rest of the stations in our Kickoff Party Photo Album
