Greetings on this sunny Flashback Friday's after a fantabulous Froback Spursday with a 2-1 win and news that Gareth Bale is coming home to pappa.  Well well well, the news seems to be dominated with Diversity's dance performance on BGT and the adverse negative record breaking  Ofcom complaints. Without going into the ins and outs of the madness surrounding this, what is astounding is that it could well be the same people that voted Diversity to win BGT 11 years ago, that are offended by their routine. I've been working on the editorial for the next issue of the magazine scheduled for October and November 2020, and with the new government restrictions of 6 people mingling, I don't expect much advertising of events, but still as Souljah Survivors..we will march on.


After the sad news last week of losing Dame Diana Rigg and Ronald Bell of Kool & The Gang, we learned that Edna Wright a one time Raelette for Ray Charles, and original member of the group Honey Cone sadly passed away. Edna's huge claim to fame apart from singing 'Want Ads' and 'Sunday Morning People', is her huge rare groove classic 'Oops Here I Go Again' which gained a second wind of life in the mid 1980s.  There was further sad news of the passing of Danny Webster, guitarist and lead vocalist of  Ohio's famous funk band players outfit Slave. We will be honouring  both Danny and Edna and a few who have left this world in the past couple of months in our magazine Roll Call Of Fame.
