TBEN UPDATES

1. You may already be aware that we have two new email addresses: hello@tben.co.uk for general enquiries and collabs@tben.co.uk for all collaborations and partnership enquiries.

2. We’ve also started to plan for the TBEN’s UK Black History Month and have some exciting and engaging events coming up!  We are putting together a couple of events with speakers from TBEN members and prominent economists speakers outside of TBEN. We will soon announce who these economists are as we are currently engaging with them. In the meantime, we want to get your thoughts on questions for these discussions on the following themes:

1. COVID-19 and health economics issues
2. BLM, race and economics issues
3. COVID-19 in developing countries
4. Interaction between COVID-19 and race

Could you all please provide your suggestions on questions specific to the themes on the google form link by Wednesday 23rd 12pm BST?

The aim will be to collate your questions for the panel discussions and allocate them to each of the discussion events.

We also need  two volunteers per theme who would be happy to speak on these topics for our internal TBEN events (which will be open to the public on zoom) - please reply to this email if you'd be interested.

3. We have exciting opportunities to share with you all, which we hope will be of interest to you. We are also delighted to announce two recruitment workshops with the Office of Communications (Ofcom) and  Frontier Economics, more details below.

Until next time.

Take care,

TBEN Team
