Yoga Certification Program Overhaul...Complete New Edition Release!!!

We at NAFC are excited to announce the release of our totally re-formatted online Yoga Certification program, Yoga 200.

Yoga is a practice that our industry has adopted as part of a balanced health and fitness pillar. Viewed by many as a flexibility component to fitness, yoga offers much more including strength benefits and functional training outcomes.

We have long believed that most yoga certification programs are incomplete in certain areas of general health and fitness education. We also believe that although live, hands-on training components can be very valuable to certification candidates, it is often too transitory to be effective in the long-term education of the instructor. This is the basis of what led us to create Yoga 200!

We have built into this program what we feel has been missing from yoga certification programs in order to deliver a fitness education and certification program that is solidly based on the principles of health and fitness, just like all of our educational offerings...and it’s all online!

The video components of Yoga 200 were created with the intention of giving the new instructor a body of working knowledge that they can continue to refer to even after they have completed their program. In this way, the material continues to add value long after the initial education has been delivered.

While developing the new release of Yoga 200, we found that the average total cost of a yoga certification is well over $2,000. Understanding the need for affordable education for fitness professionals, and in keeping with our mission to offer our accredited education globally (one of the only accredited Yoga programs available on the market) we have packed this program with high quality, value added content and are delivering it to the marketplace at the lowest price possible. And, we plan to keep it that way.

Lastly, we built this new release of Yoga 200 on NAFC’s proprietary learning management software! This software was designed to aid the student in application and retention of educational material.

If you are a certified fitness professional or aspiring to be certified as a yoga instructor, adding this credential and skillset to your current fitness offerings can generate big results to your bottom line:

  • A personal trainer adding certified yoga training to their offerings delivers a highly valuable service to their clients in a single session without the need for those clients to find a different provider.
  • A group fitness instructor will broaden the class genres they can teach and dramatically increase their price per class since yoga instructors and classes typically command a higher rate.
  • Virtual classes are in high demand and will likely remain that way. Having a yoga credential will add far more dimension to your current offerings than any other more single-dimension offering you can add to your repertoire.

The new release of Yoga 200 is available today, September 21, 2020, the first day of Fall.
