- Salt and pepper
- ¼ cup white miso paste
- 1 tablespoon dark brown sugar

We woke to the first frost of the season on Sept. 20th. Kind of hard to believe after all the hot weather we have been having. It was mostly a light frost that slightly damages parts of the plants but still leaving the plant a little while to linger on. Most of the cold sensitive crops will come off the field all together tomorrow in preparation of the hurricane to come. We will have full schedule tomorrow getting the CSA harvested, getting crops in and

securing all the things that need to be secured before all this weather kicks off. As I write this Adam is getting a jump on things and pulling crops on our one day off but that is just what you have to do sometimes (a lot of the times) as a farmer. I am sure we will thoroughly enjoy being stuck doing nothing during the hurricane. Haha. Send the farm lots of good, protective vibes and stay safe with your family and friends! <3
