We will be recording this meeting as part of a project in which we are trying to capture how the pandemic affected the Anglophone organizations and how these organizations responded, adapted and evolved during the lockdown and afterwards.
Dear CESC Paris Community,
Thanks to those of you who have already filled out the RSVP form. If you haven't had a chance to sign up your representative/s, please follow this link. We are looking forward to connecting after the summer break. Let's share our success stories and ongoing challenges during these uncertain times in light of the pandemic.
We will also discuss a project that we are launching to capture your organization's experience during the lockdown. Pauline Lemasson and I are working on a sketch of how this might be pursued. We welcome your input, suggestions and resources in making this possible, contact us here. We will be looking to do brief interviews in between the CESC meeting dates; we'd like to know how your organization first heard and responded to the news of the pandemic; the lockdown's impact on your team, and on your members. We're seeking to capture how your organization adapted and rolled with the punches, and/or perhaps in some instances, were unable to adapt because of your demographics, age group or other obstacles. We'll ask for visuals, if you have any, such as photos, copies of newsletters, announcements, screenshots, videos, etc.
We look forward to collaborating on this project in hopes of capturing an important chapter in the Anglophone community's existence in Paris and the critical role it continues to play in supporting its members during this unprecedented crisis.
We will discuss some of these ideas during the next couple of meetings and we plan on recording these CESC discussions as part of the project.
