Cabin & Park model camping rentals end on Mon 9/28. Wed 9/30 brings our 50th Anniversary Committee meeting. These meetings have been changed to the last Wednesday of the month. Annual dues statements will be sent out on Thursday 10/1. Camping and Flea Market Reservations also open on Thurs 10/1. Unfortunately, there will be no Fall Festival this year due to COVID-19. But, our Color the Pines Camouflage is happening from Fri 10/2 - Sun 10/4. All important end of season dates are available on our online calendar and on Sandy Pines Channel 27.1.
Color the Pines Camouflage is Fri 10/2 - Sun 10/4. During this time, decorate your lot, golf cart, self, or all of the above in camouflage and submit your themed photos and videos on our Official Sandy Pines Instagram or Facebook pages. All submitted images will be placed into a Facebook photo album for all to view and share Mon 10/5. Voting will be open from Tues 10/5 through Thurs 10/7. To cast your vote, like the photos and or videos that you want to win. The top three photos/videos with the most likes will be announced the winners on Fri 10/8. Friday's Board Meeting was held via Microsoft Teams. The Meeting Agenda was sent to all members on Tues 9/15 and will continue to be sent in the future following Monday BOD Planning Sessions. The meeting covered the officer elections, the Lake Study Committee proposal, approval of financial statements, rule committee points and violations and answering Member questions. The meeting is available to watch online on our YouTube Channel and on SP Channel 27.1
2021 Dues & Assessments totaling $1,896 are due on Sun 10/25/20, along with final electric, quarterly unit tax and any other items billed to your account in September. October statements will be prepped Thurs 10/1 & Fri 10/2. The over-the-phone and online payment fee of 3% will be reinstated Thurs 10/1. The six-month payment amount of $327.88 includes only the dues and assessments; (October through March). Leaves and brush can be taken directly to the compost pile at the Recycling Center across from the Main Gate or we’ll pick them up if they're placed neatly on the side of the road. Leaves must be in compostable paper bags. The water will be turned off on 10/15. When we winterize the main water supply, we unhook all of the hoses at the main riser. Please make sure that your hoses are correctly marked for winterizing your trailer and also for hook up in the spring. It is important that you blow out the water line all the way to the riser when your site gets winterized.
