World Mental Health Day

Cwm Taf Morgannwg Third Sector Mental Health Forum will host The BIG ZOOM for WMHD2020.

7th to 15th October
A number of members from the forum have come together to produce a free and interactive timetable of workshops and activities to celebrate WMHD2020. To book your place visit The Big Zoom’s Eventbrite page.

Mental health forum updates

New Grief Support Group
Grief Support Cymru launched in August to support those who are either facing a bereavement or have experienced a bereavement and need support. They aim to support the client through their bereavement in a client-led manner. Visit Grief Support Cymru's website.

Cruse Bereavement Support
Grief can sometime be overwhelming and in particular at this current time. Cruse Bereavement have a National Helpline to talk with a trained Bereavement Volunteer or you can visit their website to chat online.

Free online workshops
Valleys Steps continue to offer a range of free online sessions. To find out more and to register for one of their sessions visit Valleys Steps website.

Recovery College Autumn Timetable
New Horizons have launched their Recovery College timetable which will now be delivered online using Moodle and Vscene.  All courses are free and are open to all, including carers, family, friends, staff and professionals. To enrol visit the Recovery College's website

Increased support services for eating disorders
Due to unprecedented demand, BEAT have announced that they are launching even more support services for those affected by eating disorders. Visit BEAT's website for more information and to access a broad range of information and resources to help anyone with an eating disorder or supporting someone who does.

The Future of Regional Development and Public Investment in Wales
1st October
Welsh Government are holding discussions on the ‘Future of Regional Development and Public Investment in Wales’.

If you have an idea or two about where the money would best be spent, attend the online session on 1st October.
