Happy Friday, My Friends,

  • First, I am so looking forward to seeing some of your faces again this Sunday, September 13, as we continue to gather for in-person worship services (livestream services continue as always). Our team is prepared for you and we will do our very best to give you a safe, meaningful experience.  Here are our recommendations for those of you who plan to personally attend.

  • Our Foster Creek campus resumes in-person, outdoor services this Sunday at 6:00pm and I’m looking forward to being there. Complete details are here

  • Check out our latest Anchor Point podcast right here. Joel Smith interviews Keith Ferrin, who provides some excellent insight for enjoying Scripture. Keith is a storyteller, author, and speaker, who dedicates every presentation, book, blog post, course and workshop to help people read, study, and enjoy the Bible. This episode is a good one, especially for moms and dads working to make Scripture a priority in their homes.

  • I encourage you to join Kyle Strickland’s livestreamed Bible class this Sunday at 10:00am, right here. He’s teaching from Colossians 1:21-23, and the title card for this Sunday is “Push and Pull.” Kyle is not only an excellent worship leader, he is an excellent teacher as well.

  • This fall we have many opportunities for all ages as we ReGather in-person and Online. You can view all these opportunities in one place right here.

  • Let me specifically mention that all women are invited to ReGather this fall in a Bible study or encouragement group. Missy Edgmon has several in-person and online options from which to choose. Plus, we have daytime, as well as evening options. Registration is still open and it is not too late to get in a group. Click here to learn more.

  • This Sunday’s message is taken from 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 and this short, simple text contains three life-shaping, trajectory-altering, profound pieces of wisdom for Christ-followers. Rejoice always, pray continuously, and give thanks in all circumstances. Sound like impossible goals? Not really. These are good gifts to see you through whatever may come because our great God knows you, loves you and is very involved in the details of your life.

All God’s very best to you,
Ronnie
