At the request of Gaudeamus Joël Bons made a podcast for their new series Curious EarsIn A miraculous outburst of creativity he tells about his first trip to China in 1988 and his encounter with a number of young Chinese composers – including Tan Dun and Mo Wuping – who were completely unknown at the time. With applause for all the ensemble members who have spent months sorting, selecting and packing, the archive is thus saved for the future. Once all the material has been processed, the collection will be made accessible to all interested.
