Habitat Build Update - Owen Sound 🔨

For being a short week it sure was productive. Exterior walls are prepped for siding and all the interior walls are framed.

We started soffit and facia and we are going to be installing cedar shakes on the gables. The trades have been busy and the rough in is getting close to complete so we can start the insulation.

If you can join us next week we will be finishing soffit and facia and installing insulation.

We say farewell to our summer student Tanner – he’s off to Lambton for more studying. Good Luck Tanner! You have been a great addition to our team.

Just a reminder the Bottle Drive has started at The Beer Store so drop your empties off to any Beer Store and be sure to tell them you want to donate to Habitat for Humanity. Thanks so much!

Summer is over- time for school.
We will miss you Tanner!

Save your empty bottles and cans and consider donating them to the bottle drive between September 8 and September 20! Your donation will help families like Christina, Troy and Pauline build stronger, more stable futures.
During store hours between September 8^th and the 20^th drop them off at your local Beer Store and tell them you want to donate the money to Habitat for Humanity Grey Bruce.

We have restricted the number of people we can have on site to 10 so it is imperative that you utilize our Book-a-Shift scheduling program on our web site. Go to www.habitatgreybruce.ca then click the Hammer icon in the top right corner. For new volunteers you will have to register with an email address and watch our Safety Video.
