Family Service Lincoln is helping families thrive in our community through a variety of programs aimed at meeting the needs of families with young/school-aged children. e-bikes?

Everyone loves electric pedal-assist bikes, at least that is what our ridership data is telling us. With only 5 e-bikes in the system, they made up 13% of our trips last month. Increased availability will mean that even more people can try out these game changing bikes. These 8 additional e-bikes are being sponsored by Allo who provides lightning-faster fiber that's just as zippy as one of our electric pedal-assist bikes. The additional Allo sponsored e-bikes will be out in the system soon. To find an e-bike & take it for a spin, download the BCycle App! The app provides live information with e-bike availability and a map of our system.

You my have seen scooters parked by our bike share stations lately. As micromobility hubs, our stations are a natural place for these new transportation devices to be parked. Just like our bikes, scooters cannot be ridden on sidewalks in Downtown Lincoln & riders are highly encouraged to wear a helmet. The Fall semester is well underway & we want to make sure the UNL community takes advantage of this great discount! To get the $10 Aluminum Access membership, UNL community members need to sign up with the the promo code UNLBIKES2021 & their unl.edu email address. All trips 1-hour or less are included in the pass, trips longer than 1-hour cost $6 per additional hour.
Sign up on our website or the BCycle App today to get riding! We suggest utilizing the BCycle App for bike check outs and to locate our new electric pedal-assist bikes to give your trips an extra boost.

The health of our riders is a top priority of the BikeLNK team. We want to enable you to have access to safe socially distanced transportation and recreation with our bike share bikes.
BikeLNK has been taking precautions against COVID-19 transmission with increased sanitation efforts by our staff and have been keeping an eye on all local health measures.

As a rider, there are a few things you can do to help make sure you have a healthy ride. We highly suggest using disinfecting wipes on high-touch areas on the bikes and kiosks, like the handlebars, just like you would any public surface. Make sure to maintain 6 feet of distance between yourself and others while riding. We highly suggest wearing a mask if you cannot maintain social distancing during your trip.
