2020-21 season:
Birmingham Festival Choral Society update

Our 175th anniversary year has certainly been very different from our expectations. The Coronavirus pandemic meant that rehearsals stopped at the end of March and all three of our 2020 concerts were cancelled.

You can't stop BFCS singing for long, however, and by June sixty of us were meeting regularly for online rehearsals using Zoom. The 2019-20 season ended with our first Virtual Choir recording: Mozart's Ave Verum Corpus.

We are looking forward to producing more online recordings for you this term. They will be posted on our website and our You Tube channel.
