Dear <<First Name>><<Spouse>>,

The season of Spring appears to have sprung! Around us new life is starting - daffodils and lambs and the beautiful fresh green of new leaves exploding on dry branches. What a blessing this is after a time of darkness for much of the year. While it may not have been a winter of discontent, for many the past few months have been a time of discombobulation. Many of us are keen to put the past behind and look forward to what is next.

The current edition of Focus gives us hope for the future, precisely by looking back in reflection on the past. The lives of two great Anglicans are remembered and some of the struggles of lockdown are reflected on to equip us for faithful and fruitful church life going forward. I do hope you’ll be encouraged by it.

Please do remember the upcoming AGM (Wednesday 23 September) in your prayers, and especially Bp Richard Ellena as he speaks to us. There is a motion before us asking the Executive to review our Constitution to ensure that the Fellowship operate in the best way possible to fulfil our aims. I do hope that if you’re in Christchurch you’ll be able to join us. Also, nominations for Vice-Presidents and Executive members are open - please do forward these, with the agreement of the person being nominated, to Claire Bonner via email: online@latimer.org.nz

Yours in Christ Jesus,

Rev. Dave Clancey
Chair
