Soup & Chili Cook Off!

The days have become shorter... there's a chill in night air, as leaves begin to fall and rustle in the wind. What could be better to warm up with than a nice hot creamy soup, or a flavorful fiesta bursting you mouth with a stick to your ribs chili!?

If you think your soup or chili is the best, and you have (or access to), a Huron Perth public Health inspected kitchen, then join us for the first Soup & Chili Cook Off! This event will be held on Friday October 11 from 12 pm to 2 pm at the Exeter parkette. This will be a free event for participants, and the proceeds from the tickets sold will be split with Huron County Food Bank Distribution Center and the South Huron Chamber of Commerce. 

What do you get in return, (other then helping out a great cause)? Free publicity! You will be mentioned in FaceBook postings, and on our website. During the event, hand out your business cards, and brochures. Let the public know what you are about! If you are a restaurant, bring copies of your menus. The unfortunate truth is Covid-19 is still here, and patio season is almost over. However you can still let the public know you still offer take out, curb side pick up, and social distancing dining rooms that can be safely used for small Christmas parties or get-togethers.
And lastly, bragging rights for having the best soup or chili in South Huron!
