News from the Media Center

Are you ready for a good book?  Do you miss having a book you can take anywhere without being connected to a device?  Mrs. Lockso is checking out books from the McAlpine Media Center.  Read on for very easy directions.  You can log in to Follett Destiny through NCEDCLOUD and place holds on books OR you can use the attached link to fill out a form.  Mrs. Lockso will check out the books and you can pick them up at the front door by the office every Friday from 8:45-9:30 and 1:30-2:30. Public Library Support for Students/Families:

Our public library partners are now providing One-to-One Tutoring & Enrichment for CMS students (in English & Spanish)!  To request tutoring, families  or teachers can:

• Visit the library calendar at cmlibrary.org/calendar

• Search for “tutoring” to view available dates

• Click on session and complete form to register

• Teachers may register a student for a session if the family does not have an email address

Students can also check out physical books at the library and pick them up.  They use their student ID# and birthyear as username and password.  Students place holds on books using the library website.
