weekend wrap-up
Making plans to have a good week:
🛒 Spending some 'me time' on retail therapy. Enter the season of giving without spending a ton because Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals are early *and* online this year. Dibs on a coffee subscription for us.
🍲 Meal prepping without a recipe. Our favorite YouTuber chef Sohla El-Waylly shows us how to turn any green, any bean, any pasta into dinner. Pro tip: eat while wearing a cozy sweater.
⛰️ Adding on our to-do list: find a change of scenery. Since we can be anywhere for school or work now thanks to remote everything, let's *safely* retreat to a cabin getaway in Colorado Springs, the Smokies, and more.
💖 Showing our support for each other. ICYMI Friday was World Kindness Day and we can draw inspiration from these little acts of kindness to keep the momentum going.
📧 Bookmarking for the morning these email mistakes you should always avoid. Catching yourself from a 'reply-all' catastrophe is a given, but we should also hold off on being the first to reply or rushing to send.
📚 Wrapping up the weekend with a good read. Dive into a new November release from Halsey's I Would Leave Me If I Could to Danielle Evans's The Office of Historical Corrections: A Novella and Stories.

pillow talk
Our blog series How She Gets to Bed is a deep dive into how women who kick ass during the day spend their night. Tonight, we’re elated to feature Nina Clark, the founder of Nightire, a sleepwear brand that strives to make sleepwear functional, affordable, and beautiful.
|
|
NINA'S BACKGROUND
Industry: E-commerce Clothing
Occupation: Founder of Nightire — a one woman band behind the brand, responsible for everything from design and development to customer service, accounting, and marketing.
Age: 32
Location: London, UK
Awake by: 7:00 AM
Asleep by: 11:00PM
PRODUCTS TO GET UNREADY
My two go-to products are a pillow mist (my favourite is REN sleep spray), which I mist over my pillowcase and the top of my duvet every night — to calm me down and make my linen smell fresh every time. Also, my super soft Nightire bamboo eyemask. I cannot fall asleep without it. The eyemask blocks out all light but I find the more important function of it is the weight on my face that helps signal to my body that it’s sleep time.
LATE NIGHT SNACKS
I don’t snack at night — I try have a hearty supper about 3 hours before bed so it fills me up until morning (but always end off the meal with a few blocks of chocolate).

This week we want to know: What's your favorite holiday tradition? For one of us, it's trying a different stuffing recipe every Thanksgiving. The other, leaving the Christmas tree up until the end of January. Anything goes, so message us and we'll feature some of the responses! 💌
