RESULTS: ONLINE POSTAL MATCH #3

Thank you to all who participated, it is good to see everyone still practicing and enjoying the sport despite living in these uncertain times!

Congratulations to the winners of each category, they have received vouchers for 1 x free entry into the next MAASA Online Postal Match.

The results are as follows::
ONLINE POSTAL MATCH #4
The next in our series of online postal matches has been announced.
Once again, there are two formats to choose from, depending on your facilities, or you can enter for both - entries will remain open until October 31st. Good luck and have fun!
MAASA CLINIC - HARMONIE STALLE
We had a very successful introduction to mounted Archery Clinic at Harmonie stables on the 5th of September. It was very interesting that the majority of clinic attendees felt more comfortable shooting with the bow held in their right hand. We have been booked for several other clinics and are in the process of arranging these clinics including a two day clinic and demo in Nelspruit and two one day clinics and a demo in KZN in November. We are excited to see how interest in the sport is growing.
IHAA GRAND PRIX - SA TEAM PRACTICE
An official practice day for Team SA  was held at Bekker Equestrian Academy on Saturday 29th August.  All team members were in attendance (even El-Rico all the way from the Free State!), and a mock competition was held to determine baseline scores and to practice the format of the GP competition.
Thank you to Amali for judging, Deon and Zelda for scoring and timekeeping, and to all the arrow pullers - Stephan, Stevie (Bekker Equestrian) and Basheru (K&P).
Also to Bekker Equestrian Academy (Jenna Elliott especially) for hosting everyone, and making sure all Covid rules and regulations were followed.

And a big thank you to Deirdre for organizing the day - there is a lot of preparation that has to be done before, during and after such an event.

The next official practice day will be held on 3rd October at the same venue.
The team will compete in the IHAA GP on 10th October.
