Subi Lounge Series adds strings to library's bow
Subi Lounge series kicks off this week with live music performances scattered all across the city centre.
From African dance to gypsy jazz, European folk to string quartets, chilled folk club vibes to full-blown funk and soul - there's music to suit all tastes. With free pop-up events in laneways and bars complementing premium ticketed events at The Regal Theatre and our very own Subiaco Library, there is something for everyone.
Subiaco Library is thrilled to be hosting a special event, Books & Strings with Alchemy Art Quartet on Friday 2 October. Tickets are selling fast for this unique experience so get in quick.

New mural in Subiaco underpass
Lego Masters 2020 winner and well-known Perth artist Jackson Harvey has been working with students at Bob Hawke College to transform a graffitied underpass in Subiaco.
Three workshops were run with students to brainstorm ideas and develop skills before putting paint to pavement. Visit the underpass at Haydn Bunton Drive to see the masterpiece in person!

Mental Health Matters
The City of Subiaco has partnered with the Australian Red Cross to deliver workshops with information on mental health concerns. These 90 minute virtual training courses are free and cover a range of topics from recognising mental health concerns, recovery and resilience and what support and assistance is available.

The City has partnered with WA AustCyber Innovation Hub to deliver Digital Futures month throughout October. Digital Futures comprises of a series of cyber education events for adults and young people, with both in person and digital training sessions.

School Holiday activities are back at Subiaco Library this Spring! Enjoy science activities, Lego challenges and a special pyjama Storytime.
