Please note that GradesFirst is available in read-only mode if you need to reference any information. Any appointment history and appointments scheduled in GradesFirst on or after today are to be migrated to Advisor Link student records.
Support for Advisor Link
For support, please submit a service request in ServiceNow by visiting services.gatech.edu, clicking on the Teaching & Learning tile and then clicking on the Advising Platform tile. Your support request will be addressed as quickly as possible.
Virtual Office Hours for Support
The service team will hold virtual office hours on Thursday mornings from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. beginning Thursday, Sept. 17. The virtual office can be accessed via BlueJeans at https://bluejeans.com/4048944412.
Advisor Link Transition Checklist:
- If you have not already, please communicate that Advisor Link has gone live to your advisees. While students have been engaged through broad communications, a communication from their advisors will ensure they are personally engaged about these changes.
- Please make sure advising webpages reflect the change from GradesFirst to Advisor Link. It is important that academic unit websites reflect that students should connect with their advisors via Advisor Link, not Gradesfirst, effective Sept. 14.
- Visit the New Era Advising website for job aids and videos. The project website is still available with job aid and video links for both advisors and students. These serve as supplements to what advisors have learned during training.
