If you have not received any support from the UK Government towards your business, and your business has been adversely affected by the COVID-19 restrictions, Council's Business Support Team want to know more about your circumstances. Having this information may help design local programmes, targeted to those businesses who are in greatest need, if additional resources become available.

If you prefer, you can take an anonymous Twitter Poll, which can be answered with a straightforward YES or NO HERE.
Calling all Wet Pubs due to open 21 September - Are you Good to Go?
We are delighted that our wet pubs have finally been given an indicative opening date of 21 September!

For those businesses who have completed the Safe and Alert Level 2 Qualification and/or registered for Good to Go, we advise you to highlight this to your guests and customers, on both online and offline platforms, to make it clear that you are compliant with current guidelines and meet the Government's public health advice.

Visit Causeway Coast & Glens Marketing Campaign Embraces a Giant Spirit
Visit Causeway Coast and Glens has launched an online marketing campaign, that will be supplemented by press advertising later this month, to help drive bookings for our destination over the coming months.  It is targeting visitors from the domestic market and the Republic of Ireland market with the message that it is possible to enjoy a break close to home.
The online campaign will feature on Facebook and Instagram until mid-October with a series of adverts which will link to the OpenForBusiness page on visitcausewaycoastandglens.com. The press campaign will run from 19th September to 26th October in the Belfast Telegraph and the Sunday Life.  The creative approach has been designed to complement Northern Ireland’s – Embrace A Giant Spirit destination brand while featuring locations and businesses exclusive to the Causeway Coast and Glens.
Would you like your business to feature in our upcoming promotions?
In previous years we have used competitions very successfully to raise the profile of businesses and generate engagement with our viewers.  We are planning to run a series of competition promotions over the coming months.

If you are interested in supplying a prize (free of charge), you will be featured on our Facebook and Instagram pages with 40,000 followers.  All we need are the details of the prize, image(s) from your business, social media handles and a link to your website where viewers can book/buy your product. Send your information to
marketing@causewaycoastandglens.gov.uk

Tourism Ireland seeks Inspirational Content

At a time when international visitors cannot travel here, Tourism Ireland is rolling out its #FillYourHeartWithIreland (#FYHWI) initiative – sharing inspirational content about the island of Ireland with its millions of fans and followers on social media, including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Twitter.

The campaign aims to ‘keep the lights on’ and maintain a strong presence overseas, to help ensure that the island of Ireland stays front-of-mind with them for future holidays. To date, the campaign has achieved significant engagement with those fans and followers – including 143 million impressions (or opportunities to see).

Tourism Ireland is calling on tourism industry operators to get involved, providing content which will reassure future international visitors about health and safety and that shows the island of Ireland will still be a fun and welcoming holiday destination – when the time is right to welcome international visitors once again.
