Hello new school year!

Our education department is ready to roll and take this school year as it is - with ups and downs, with its challenges and extra flexibility.

These are unsure times so we understand that you may be hesitant to book. However, we would be very happy to reserve an activity for your school and be flexible in case of a corona cancellation. Schools can cancel due to corona up until a week before the event takes place. We focus on empathy and health above rigid regulations and do our utmost best to accommodate your wishes. We hope that our flexible arrangements make it easier for you to fill the upcoming year with extra curricular activities in your school.

In this newsletter we highlighted an open workshop for anybody who is interested in storytelling and two of our newest workshops to help your students find their inner confidence through drama.

What Makes Someone a Stranger? Workshop

Open storytelling workshop on Sunday 11 October 14:00-17:00, The Hague

Storyteller and teacher Raphael Rodan will conduct a workshop teaching you the basics of writing and performing an inspiring personal story for theatre. Join us and explore how stories connect us through our shared humanity.

You can participate as an individual, with your colleagues or students in the centre of The Hague.

The Power of YOU Workshop

We are delighted to offer a new drama workshop that will not only engage and entertain your students, but also let them learn new communication, creative and empathy skills. Joanna Lucas (UK) will show your students how participating in theatre games can actually help them in their personal – and future professional – lives, developing lifelong skills that are underrepresented in the curriculum. We are proud to offer something relevant, fun and incredibly powerful to those who are finding their feet in the world.

My News, Your News Workshop

We are delighted to offer a new drama workshop that will not only engage and entertain your students, but also let them learn about the way stories in the media shape and influence our thinking.

In a time where information is everywhere and we are confronted by news stories in so many ways, understanding how stories are designed to influence and affect us is key to developing independent thoughts and opinions. Using group discussion, real world examples and drama games, students explore the impact of the stories we share and how we tell them.
