Lunch Costs Waived for Foreseeable Future

The USDA has provided funds to continue to pay for student school lunches until December 31, 2020 or until the funds are exhausted, whichever comes first. TMP-M completed the waiver on Friday, September 11, 2020, and it went into effect immediately yesterday, Monday, September 14, 2020. Until further notice, school lunches will be served free to all students at TMP-M.  A la carte options will still be available for high school and middle schools and charged to their meal accounts. All money placed on the meal accounts will carry-over until regular meal prices resume. Students who qualify for free or reduced meals will also carry-over that status.

Change in TMP-Marian's Indoor Sports Policy

After two weeks of activities, we feel the need to change our indoor mask policy. Everyone inside Al Billinger Fieldhouse or any of our buildings will be required to wear a mask at all times. The policy on outdoor activities remains unchanged.

Updated Indoor Policy:
 

**Masks are required for entry into all TMP-M buildings. All spectators not wearing a mask will be asked to mask or leave the venue. Please be respectful of our policies and those enforcing those policies**

Volleyball:
                 Players and coaches will be required to wear masks. Players on the bench will have masks on, only the players on the court will not be masked. Spectators will be expected to wear masks at all times inside our buildings. We have hand sanitizer stations for public use.

Monday, September 21st- Virtual Alumni Speakers- Regular Schedule HS/JH

Tuesday, September 22nd-  Float Building Day- ON TMP-M CAMPUS. Each class will be separated into 4 different groups to maintain social distancing  per grade and have different activities to complete on campus. HS- 9:00am-1:00pm JH-Regular Schedule with Mass

Wednesday, September 23rd-   Homecoming Practice @ Lewis Field for Band Members, Cheerleaders, and King/Queen Candidates. More information to be posted later.- HS/JH- Regular Schedule

Thursday, September 24th- ALL H.S. Mass in the Gym/Movie Day at 1:30pm (3 movie choices to separate for Social Distancing) HS- Early Release Schedule will miss 1st/2nd hours for Mass. JH- Regular Schedule.  Candidate Q&A- Bonfire Rally at TMP-M beginning at 7:30pm

Friday, September 25th- Parade around Victory 4:00pm, King/Queen crowning-halftime of Football Game. HS/JH- Early Release Schedule.

Saturday, September 26th- HIGH SCHOOL ONLY- Dance at TMP-M South School Parking Lot 8:00pm-10:30pm. Dance is subject to be cancelled pending weather, Covid guidance, etc. With the dance being outside- dress code will be business casual but formal/semi formal will also be acceptable.
 

OUR GOAL IS TO PROVIDE POSITIVE, ENJOYABLE EXPERIENCES  FOR THE TMP-MARIAN STUDENT BODY DURING HOMECOMING WEEK. WE WILL CONTINUE TO MONITOR AND FOLLOW OUR COVID GUIDELINES (SOCIAL DISTANCING, MASKS AT ALL EVENTS, HAND WASHING, SANITIZING, ETC.) AND TAKE GUIDANCE FROM THE ELLIS COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT TO MAINTAIN A HEALTHY AND SAFE ENVIRONMENT FOR ALL TMP-M STUDENTS,  FACULTY & STAFF. DUE TO GUIDANCE AND MONITORING SOME EVENTS MAY HAVE TO BE MODIFIED OR CANCELLED DEPENDING ON THE CURRENT INFORMATION AVAILABLE. Academic Tutoring Runs Monday-Thursday after School

Students who are seeking additional assistance with learning concepts, assignments, or projects, can come to Academic Tutoring on Mondays through Thursdays after school until 4 p.m.

Academic Tutoring runs from Sep. 14 to Dec. 10 during the first semester. There are separate sessions for JH and HS. The JH meets in the JH Learning Commons on the 3rd floor from 3:15-4 p.m. The high school meets in the Learning Commons on the 2nd floor from 3:25-4 p.m.

Students who are on the eligibility list for the week will be required to attend Academic Tutoring as long as they have a grade below 70% for HS or 69% for JH. Eligibility Lists will be published every Thursday and students will be notified before the following Monday if they are on the list. Students on the Eligibility List do not attend practices or rehearsals until AT is finished at 4 p.m.
