We upgraded 1,051 UniFi servers

As part of our service, we regularly test new Stable releases of UniFi, UNMS, and UniFi Video and keep your servers up to date.

Last week we upgraded all 1,051 of our UniFi servers from 5.13.32 to 5.14.23, including two servers which were still on 5.12.72 due to hotspot operator bugs introduced in 5.13.29 which were fixed in 5.14.22.

Everything has been running smoothly after the upgrades.

5.14.23 resolves multiple bugs that were introduced in 5.13.29 including these which were related to hotspot operator accounts and email notification links:

Thank you for your patience as we spent extra time testing these updates and decided to skip the 5.14.22 Stable update.

Use your own custom domain name

Did you know you can use your own domain name for your HostiFi server? Simply ping your server address to get the IP address, then create an A record on your DNS provider with your custom name. When done, let us know and we can issue a new SSL certificate for your server.
