Concrete Ventures is excited to announce that it has brought Arnaud van der Wyck on board as General Partner alongside Taylor. His deep experience in traditional and venture finance, paired with a deep passion for "Proptech", strengthens Concrete's executional capability and vision. Arnaud was most recently Partner at San Francisco-based Sway Ventures since its inception in 2013 and will continue working with Sway as an Senior Advisor. At Sway Ventures, Arnaud launched Sway’s EMEA office in London and was leading Sway’s strategic Proptech sector team.

- Singapore-based interior design startup Livspace said it has raised US$90m in a series D round led by Switzerland’s Kharis Capital and India- and Southeast Asia-focused Venturi Partners.
- SenseHawk, a SaaS platform that helps customers develop, build and operate solar, raised $5.1m in Series A1 funding. The investment round was led by Alpha Wave Incubation (AWI).
- UK proptech Movewise has announced landing over €660K funding from venture capital firm Hambro Perks, as well as two angels.
- Hammock, a U.K. fintech/proptech helping landlords and PMs gain better oversight on the financial health of their rental properties, has raised £1 million in seed funding. Backing comes from Fuel Ventures and Ascension Ventures.
- ICON, US-based start-up using 3D printing robotics to deliver dignified homes secured $35m in Series A funding led by Moderne Ventures.
- Orchard, the company that is radically simplifying home buying and selling, has completed a $69m Series C equity funding round led by Revolution Growth.
