Christchurch Dental Newsletter
Welcome to our September Newsletter
We issued our last Newsletter in February. Little did we know what was around the corner - and that it would be September before we pushed out our May edition!
We started the beginning of the year with a busy practice, happy patients and happy staff. We have all that back again now after some long hours and lots of firefighting along the way - but in a very different format to before. We want to thank you for your patience and support during this time.
As the World has suffered from COVID-19, it has affected us all in different ways. We hope that you are all safe, healthy and learning how to deal with the forever changing days in your own way.

We cannot wait to welcome you back for a chat over a coffee in our beautiful Consultation Room, but in the meantime, we are scheduling video calls into our diary using Microsoft Teams. This is an online platform for meetings that can be used on-the-go or from the comfort of your own home.
If you are a new or existing patient and have questions about the treatments we offer here at Christchurch, please get in touch and we can create an appointment to suit you.

Moving Forward with Digital Dentistry
Digital dentistry is taking over quickly due to Covid-19. We introduced digital scanning 2 years ago; meaning that you can have impression-free dentistry. As mentioned above, we are now also providing more remote consultations, which saves you a trip to see us and means we can have a chat from the comfort of your home or office. Remote video calls with the Clinicians are being offered for Invisalign reviews, new client meet-and-greets, treatment presentations and treatment consents. We are always forward-thinking - and this is definitely the way forward!

We held an Invisalign Open Day back in March, and it was a huge success. Unfortunately, lockdown meant there was a delay in starting some of the treatments - but we got there in the end. Derek was great and worked tirelessly throughout the whole lockdown period to ensure the Invisalign journeys could start.
Derek was available for video calls and on the telephone for all our patients throughout the lockdown period - from helping those with dental problems, to being available if anyone just needed to talk. He certainly kept busy and, as always, put his patients first. Thank you, Derek!

Invisalign
A smile that you are confident with can change everything. With Invisalign, it doesn't have to be a big deal, as it barely impacts your daily life.
Invisalign straightens teeth using a series of nearly invisible, removable aligners that are custom-made specifically for your teeth. As you replace each aligner every two weeks, your teeth move - little by little, week by week, gradually moving towards the projected final position.
Comfortable, clear and removable - Invisalign transforms your smile without disrupting your life.
Once you are in your aligners, we can hold video check-ins with you for the most part of your treatment, and review you in-person occasionally. This makes it very time-friendly, with no frequent trips to see us - as we realise how busy life can be.
We have all the latest technology here at Christchurch, so if you are interested in Invisalign, we can book you in to scan your teeth (no mouthful of putty). We can then provide you with an on-the-spot simulation of what your teeth would look like once realigned. What do you have to lose? Come and see us for your free scan and simulation.
We are also able to offer 10 months interest-free finance for your Invisalign treatment. Feel free to contact the reception team for more information.

Due to Covid-19, we are having to wear enhanced PPE when carrying out procedures using our drills. We want to reassure you that, though we may look different, we are still our normal smiley selves underneath all the gear!
