I hope this email finds you dreaming of your next trip. These are tough times for us that love to discover new parts of the world, but hopefully, you are taking this time to keep your health as priority #1 and using your 'free time' to discover new experiences around your hometown.
Over the past few months, I have posted a few new podcasts, videos on YouTube (nearing 3K subs), been interviewed a few times on other media outlets, and even released the World Barber Shop Adventures series in Japan. It has been exciting to continue to spread the message of how travel can impact our lives to all those who have an interest.
I appreciate all of the notes of positivity and wish everyone well as we continue to navigate these changing times.
For those listeners in the Midwest who are comedy lovers, I published a podcast in late July that details our trip to see "Dave Chappelle Live in a Cornfield in Ohio" - He continues to showcase these unique events with his comedian friends and other entertainers in a safe outdoor setting. There has been a long list of comedians that have headlined the event over the summer including Chris Rock, David Letterman, Louis CK, Trevor Noah, and Kevin Hart.
As you know, I love to read both with my eyes and ears (Audible.com). This summer has brought a bunch of new books to my attention but one, in particular, sang my song. Die with Zero by Bill Perkins aligns with everything I believe in maximizing life experiences over buying needless things, but it has a new take on how to live your best life. In this podcast episode, I discuss how Bill dives into many different points of view behind making the most of your time buckets, leveraging your health, and understanding how much you really need to save before you can retire comfortably.
