Drop off in the morning

Please do not drop your child(ren) off before 7:45. The doors will not open until then and with colder temperatures coming, we do not want the students to have to wait outside.

Please be diligent in not double parking to drop your child off in the morning. We cannot trust that the cars behind will see students crossing the road and want to protect them from the potential of being hit while crossing.

Kudos to our families for arriving on time. So far we have had very few tardies (even on the big snow day!) The temperature checks in the morning are going very well. We are still waiting for our temperature Kiosk and will continue to take temperatures manually until it arrives.

Students are allowed to use the microwave to heat their lunches. Please send food that needs to be warmed up only and can be done in less than a minute. Food that need to cooked or are frozen takes precious time, delaying other children from eating. Thank you for this consideration. If your child brings food that needs to be heated, please send a small paper plate to place the food on as often times the food melts into the microwave, the food is too hot to manage, or they have to place their items directly on the table which does not provide the most sanitary surface.

Girls Grades K-5! You are invited to join St. Anthony School Little Flowers Girls’ Club. THIRD THURSDAY OF THE MONTH 3:30-4:45 in the Commons

Little Flowers Girls' Club is a Catholic program for girls based on learning Catholic virtues through the lives of Catholic saints, scripture, and the Catechism of the Catholic Church. You do not need to be Catholic to be a Little Flower! At each meeting we have prayer time, learn about a saint and virtue within our small groups, and have an associated activity or craft. During the school year, we also have service projects. In our first meeting, we will introduce the club; therefore, it would be beneficial to have parents visit with me at the end of the meeting on Thursday. Our meeting day will primarily be the 3rd Thursday of every month with occasional extra meetings when necessary for service projects and special activities. There will NOT be a supply/craft fee for the year, however families are asked to sign-up to bring snacks. T-shirts, sashes and badges are optional purchases which can be discussed with Mrs. Best. For additional information, contact: Muffy Best: 259-0931 or muffy.best@sascasper.com

FIRST MEETING THIS YEAR: SEPTEMBER 24, 2020. 3:30-4:45 IN THE COMMONS

The 6th Annual Archangel Amble is set for September 19th at 9 am starting at the Tate Pumphouse!

Traditionally, the Amble has raised funds for middle schoolers to attend Teton Science School. Since 2020 TSS has been cancelled, the Amble funds will be for athletics and middle school enrichment needs such as exploratories and house days. Therefore, for this year only, pledges and sponsorships will count toward the family fundraising obligation. Any SAS student can raise funds through the Amble!

Please join us for the annual Archangel Amble 5K/1K Fun Run on September 19th. Registration and Check-In begin at 8:15 AM and race start at 9:00 AM. We again plan to have a strider bike race for younger kids. Single participant registration is $10 (covers registration and t-shirt) and Family registration is $30 (includes up to 4 t-shirts). Covid-19 health guidelines and social distancing measures for race start will be incorporated.

Donations to the event are tax deductible! If you have questions or would like to be a sponsor for the event, please contact Ally Klosterman (259-1885), Anne Derby (anne.derby@sascasper.com) or Courtney Ladenburger (courtney.ladenburger@sascasper.com)

If your child has borrowed a mask from school, please clean and return it. We are beginning to see a decline in our numbers and need them for future use.

Year books from last year are in. The yearbook committee is getting them out as quickly as possible. Some families ordered last minute and payment is $20. I do have a few left. If you are unsure if you ordered one or not, please do not hesitate to contact me at terry.cometto@sascasper.com.

Yearbooks for this current year will go on sale shortly and we are trying to make sure we receive them before the end of the school year. Thank you for your patience.

Tuition invoices

As we transition to our new system, we ask that you check over bill. When entering data, it is not uncommon to make mistakes. If you find an error, please contact Donald Pierce so it can be corrected. Thank your for your patience on this. New systems are a challenge to learn. So far we are pretty happy with the system and are learning new things along the way.

Additional Tuition Assistance and Scholarship

If your family was awarded additional tuition assistance or a special scholarship for the 20-21 school year, please turn in your acknowledgement letters/cards so we may distribute them.

Please check our Facebook page for recent news and photos of what is going here at school….
