Drop off in the morning
Please do not drop your child(ren) off before 7:45. The doors will not open until then and with colder temperatures coming, we do not want the students to have to wait outside.
Please be diligent in not double parking to drop your child off in the morning. We cannot trust that the cars behind will see students crossing the road and want to protect them from the potential of being hit while crossing.
Kudos to our families for arriving on time. So far we have had very few tardies (even on the big snow day!) The temperature checks in the morning are going very well. We are still waiting for our temperature Kiosk and will continue to take temperatures manually until it arrives.
Students are allowed to use the microwave to heat their lunches. Please send food that needs to be warmed up only and can be done in less than a minute. Food that need to cooked or are frozen takes precious time, delaying other children from eating. Thank you for this consideration. If your child brings food that needs to be heated, please send a small paper plate to place the food on as often times the food melts into the microwave, the food is too hot to manage, or they have to place their items directly on the table which does not provide the most sanitary surface.
Girls Grades K-5! You are invited to join St. Anthony School Little Flowers Girls’ Club. THIRD THURSDAY OF THE MONTH 3:30-4:45 in the Commons
Little Flowers Girls' Club is a Catholic program for girls based on learning Catholic virtues through the lives of Catholic saints, scripture, and the Catechism of the Catholic Church. You do not need to be Catholic to be a Little Flower! At each meeting we have prayer time, learn about a saint and virtue within our small groups, and have an associated activity or craft. During the school year, we also have service projects. In our first meeting, we will introduce the club; therefore, it would be beneficial to have parents visit with me at the end of the meeting on Thursday. Our meeting day will primarily be the 3rd Thursday of every month with occasional extra meetings when necessary for service projects and special activities. There will NOT be a supply/craft fee for the year, however families are asked to sign-up to bring snacks. T-shirts, sashes and badges are optional purchases which can be discussed with Mrs. Best. For additional information, contact: Muffy Best: 259-0931 or muffy.best@sascasper.com
