Support the Challenge
Syrian Truong is an incoming PhD student in the Physics Department, after completing his MS in the Physical Sciences Division (MS-PSD) this spring. When asked about his PhD program, he said: "I'm grateful for the opportunity to be able to utilize these next number of years to investigate questions in physics and other sciences that I've thought quite a bit about throughout the years and want to know or attempt to investigate the answers to, but did not previously have the time or resources to do so."

"It is my hope that the impact of this fellowship challenge will be to help further enable a diverse and talented group of scholars to investigate questions that are of great importance to humanity and to increase knowledge across all fields, in a just way."

Please give to support Syrian and other incoming graduate students with a gift today. With a 1:1 match from a UChicago alumnus and his wife, we are less than $800,000 away from reaching our $3.6M goal!
