Women's Motorcycle Conference Online: Connection

November 6-7, 2020
Hi Everyone,

I'm a big fan of #SlowTravel. My first such trip was walking the Camino de Santiago, a spiritual pilgrimage across Spain (foot travel is s-l-o-w !!!) in 2006. My second slow trip was in 2008, when I rode my little DR350 in a figure-8 around America, riding only about 200 miles per day. First I rode the Trans-America Trail (all dirt roads East to West across the USA!) then the Continental Divide Ride (all dirt roads North to South from the Canadian border to the Mexican border!), then back home to Connecticut.

www.EscapeMog.comCurrently, I'm traveling in a Unimog (a German military vehicle with an RV on the back) from California via Washington state and on back to North Carolina, where we relocated last year. With a max speed of 42 mph, we're experiencing slow travel on a whole different level. Whereas I previously thought that the central USA states were where you cracked the throttle and suffered through it, by purposely traveling at a slower pace I've learned to really appreciate and savor the nuances this region represents.

I love discovering ways to break outside my previously-held-beliefs and learning something new. To that end, I'm leveraging my motorcycle industry contacts as well as people I've met around the globe as a motorcycle traveler to bring our community new, interesting and insightful information in a series of online and in-person Women's Motorcycle Conferences. November 6-7, 2020, is the next online conference, and the theme is Connection. Details on the conference are below, along with the details on the drawing for cool moto stuff.

Connect with you then!
