Friend,

Families all across the country are tackling new challenges that come with COVID-19.  One of the biggest hurdles this semester has been the supervision of online learning for families without a stay at home parent or caretaker. They’re wondering:

Are there any childcare centers open?

How do I balance my work with my child's virtual learning?

How can I ensure my child stays on track with their online schoolwork?

How can my child get the socialization they need to be happy?

School Choice Week's mission is to provide you with the information you need about all the school options available to you is as important as ever. We’ve expanded that this year to answer questions like these.

With that in mind, we've created a new resource to help you navigate virtual learning facilities:

Virtual Learning Center Database

This is a growing list of YMCAs, childcare facilities, museums, and more that are offering virtual learning support and spaces for your child to attend. We’ve listed the cost and availability for each, when we can, and broken them down by state and city.

We hope this helps you or a friend find a solution to one of the challenges this new year brings.

Best,

The National School Choice Week Team

P.S.: Do you know of a program or resource that is offering virtual learning support for students, but isn't on our list?  Fill out this form to let us know!
