Give everyone delight
It has been an eventful summer for our family.
Car Crash
“Sean, my car is totaled and I’m stuck inside! Please come.” In May, Sean flew to Maryland to help his brother David relocate to Florida. During their drive down in separate vehicles, a truck crashed into David and paramedics were shocked to find him alive in the wreckage. He was bruised but not severely injured. He is currently working on his master’s degree in theology.

Sean’s Dad Art
At deaths door: Art (Sean’s Father) has had CLL (a type of Leukemia which is slow growing but incurable) for 20 years. After his white blood cell count climbed to 410,000, his oncologist started him on chemotherapy. After 3 days of Chemo, he became deathly ill with reaction to the drugs plus Strep Throat and then Pneumonia. We fought to keep him hydrated and out of the hospital due to Coronavirus but after an 8 second seizure, we rushed him to the hospital where he spent the next two weeks. People all over the world prayed for him. Within days, his blood tests showed he was cancer free with his white blood cell count at 4 (down from 410,000). Art has now been cancer free for 4 months. He is back ministering in various ways: as a chaplain, leading Bible studies, and taking care of the YWAM Tampa business.

Sister-in-law Victoria
On the day Art was admitted to the hospital, Victoria miscarried her second child. Now, it’s September and Victoria is 3 months pregnant with another baby. It has been fun to hang out with little John and get to know Victoria better.

DTS
From January to June we held our annual Discipleship Training School. Sean taught an exciting week on Spiritual Warfare and we had many wonderful teachers come for the other weeks.
Sean Teaching
Because of the Corona virus, we had to cancel our trip to Asia which is Sean’s favorite part of the DTS. Our team crafted and performed “Yeshua the Musical”, “Chains”, and “To Philemon.” We filled a large trailer with trash bags with all the roadside rubbish we found in our community. Our team fed the homeless and repaired houses of those disadvantaged.

New House
Meanwhile, Sean has been working hard at the building site, preparing the grounds for the foundations, working with fencing, septic, cement, well, driveway and electrical companies, along with the builders. All the while, Sean is also trying to finish book 3: Dragon of the Naga Trilogy, and keep up with his YWAM Tampa responsibilities. Needless to say, the last few months were exhausting. A generous sponsor has helped us to achieve this gift.
New Home
We are waiting for the garage to be finished and final inspections to be done. We are hoping to move in by the end of September. Please pray that we can complete the work without too many more delays.
If you would like to help us out, here is our house-warming gift registry. And, yes, we are content with worn and torn, but functional items.
The Naga Trilogy
I have a quick question for you. Do you know what a Naga is? Should I rename my book series the Naga Dragon Trilogy? I am seriously considering making the swap.
I have completed writing the third book: titled Dragon and am now in the process of getting it edited.
The Missionary Kid Chronicles: Naga Trilogy: Rescue has a 4/4 rating at the Online Book Club.

Family Adventure
Future
We would like to resume our international outreaches to serve the needy but Covid-19 has put a damper on several of our plans. Please pray with us that we will be able to resume this travel ministry.
